This place is amazing! We ordered the largest combo plate for the two of us and it was way too much food- which is awesome because it was pretty cheap and we love leftovers. We also love sampler plates so I was really happy that we got to try a lot of different things.
The food is delicious and I'm glad we ordered it mild. We're both kind of weenies so it was the perfect amount of spice for us.
We went with the steak on top of the chicken stew and LOVED IT! We'll definitely be coming back -

Can't review because it wasn't even open when it said it was. I spent $18 on a Lyft to find out.
Out of towners beware, neighborhood is sketchy. -

WOW. I am blown away by the food here! This small, hole-in-the-wall type of restaurant is one I would have driven right past if I hadn't been seized with such a hankering for Ethiopian. We ordered the veggie lovers. Each meal comes on a plate covered with injera (a type of spongy, tangy flatbread) on top of which different colorful sauces and meats/veggies are arranged. Each of these items were unique, delicious, and well portioned. For about $13, we had plenty of food for two of us. My favorites were a spicy, tomato-y sauce; yellow dal; and some pickled-tasting beets. I cannot wait to be back; I've been craving it ever since!

If you want Authentic Ethiopian food, then this is the place to visit. It's a small hole-in-the wall restaurant with very limited spots for parking. The service is excellent. The owner was very friendly and very helpful. This was the first time we went to this place and we weren't sure what to order so we asked and ordered what was recommended to us. And the food was delicious. We ordered the Zil Zil bits, which came with the spongy bread, known as "injera." Injera is definitely an acquired taste. If you have a sensitive palate, you may not like it so much. The portion size is pretty big, you can easily share a meal. Note that when you get your food, utensils are not provided, Ethiopian food are meant to be eaten with your hand. However, you can always ask for utensils, and they are happy to provide it to you. Overall, our first visit was great. We will definitely go back and try other food from their menu.

The food was so delicious and the people that served us were lovely! They have many platter choices including a chicken and rice dish for people who might be a little intimidated, although I had the Mahbarawi platter, which was fantastic. The prices are reasonable, and the clientele is a mix of many different people. Ethiopian cuisine is one of my favorites, and I highly recommend this place. I'll definitely be back.
